: Do not write your name in the essay. If you write your name your submission will not be scored.
: Eliminate or change all identifiers to protect the privacy of the person’s) you observed.
: You may make generic references to describe a particular setting if necessary.

Prompt A:
Explain using concrete examples, what you have learned through your coursework and/or observation in a PK-12 educational; setting about how to encourage children’s development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and performance skills.

Prompt B:
Discuss, using concrete examples, what you learned about planning and teaching a lesson and how you can provide instruction that supports children with different ranges of skills, ability, and cultural backgrounds (including, but not limited to the following students who have different cognitive abilities or language preferences, students whose academic performance is above or below developmental expectations, or students with diverse cultural backgrounds.
